Kilómetro 26

Why hello

This has been a week very special to me. I was able to focus on changing my focus attitude and obedience in order to have the spirit more. I am very happy with how this year 2023 has started off!

I got transfered to a part of town called kilómetro, it's just beautiful. And by beautiful I mean the sketchiest area I've lived in by far. Only a week and I've already seen some crazy stuff. Gotta be careful for sure here haha.

My new companion is Elder Andrews, he's a newer missionary from Blackfoot Idaho. He's a very very good guy who is very focused on obedience and not wasting time which are 2 invaluable qualities in a great missionary. Honestly, even though he's still young in the mission and I've had much more skilled companions, he's probably the best example of a companion I've had by far. Very grateful to work with him.

With the more time I have in the mission the more I begin to understand... a lot of things. I was about to write one things in specific but as it says in the hymn the spirit of God, I feel like:

The Lord is extending the Saints’ understanding, The knowledge and power of God are expanding; The veil o’er the earth is beginning to burst.

This is such a special time! There are so many lessons and qualities uniquely learned only in the mission. I feel that I never could have ever become the person I needed to be without this experience. I feel so grateful and humbled by this opportunity I've been given and all I want is to make the most of each moment.
