We went to Olive Garden and I can tell you for a fact now that God Blesses us

Good day to all of yall! Hope your week is going excellent so far.

These last two weeks have been pretty okay. Not a lot that happened if I'm going to be honest, which is why I didn't send an email out last week haha.

Zone conference was last week though. That was fun, we watched a few bits of the Karate Kid, and then President compared learning on a mission to it. It was cool, I'll talk about it in my spiritual thought.

A recent convert took us to Olive Garden, his name was from Voya, and he's from somewhere in western Europe. He just loves the missionaries, and we got to hear his conversion story and how he just has such a strong testimony in the gospel. He's awesome! And ofc he fed us Olive garden, sooo he's for sure getting extra brownie points in heaven or something.

OK! Spiritual Thought!

First off, if you haven't seen the Karate Kid, watch it. It's fantastic.

Have you seen it yet?

Good.

Okay, now that you've watched it, I want you to look back on the training sequence that Daniel went through. At first, it's just like a series of chores- sanding floors, waxing cars, painting fences- and he gets frustrated. But then, Mister Miyagi teaches him that things aren't always as they seem.

In all reality, he has been building him up to learn fundamentals that will help him learn karate.

It's the same with us and God. Sometimes, we are asked to do things that seem silly. We wonder, "why in the world would you have us do this?"

But in the end, there's always a lesson to learn. We look back at the skills we've grown, whether on a mission or as a teacher in the church, or even just following the example we've been asked to, and we see that it has built us up to be strong and stand up to the pressure of the world.

Anyway! Love you all! Thanks for reading! You're like super awesome!
